This specialization programme is designed for graduates who hold a law degree from the University of Curaçao or the University of Aruba. Since 1998, Erasmus School of Law has offered this opportunity to earn a Master of Laws degree in an accelerated, one-year programme. The programme requires students to be physically present in the Netherlands to attend classes and take exams; remote learning or exams in Curaçao or Aruba are not possible.
Curriculum
The programme requires completion of the bachelor's component European Union Law (7 EC), unless an exemption is granted by the Examination Board based on comparable prior coursework. In addition, students must complete at least 30 EC from one of the following Master's specializations:
- Year 1
- European Union Law (bachelor component)
- Private Law specialisation (Commercial Property Law)
- Criminal Law specialisation
- Public Law for Business and Citizens specialisation
- International and European Law specialisation (English-taught)
Entry requirements
Law Bachelor's and Master's DegreeCompleted law bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Curaçao or the University of Aruba.
Law Doctoral DegreeCompleted law doctoral degree from the University of Curaçao or the University of Aruba.
