The STLR-Tagging Process at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) is a system designed to recognize and award students for engaging in activities that contribute to their learning and development across five core tenets. How to apply

2. Attend STLR-Tagged EventsStudents automatically receive STLR Exposure-level credit for attending STLR-tagged events hosted by UCO organizations. Some events may offer opportunities for higher credit levels.
3. Engage with Student GroupsIf you are a member or officer of a student group, ask your faculty-staff advisor about STLR tagging for group activities or events to earn credit.
4. Participate in Out-of-Class ProjectsIf you are involved in an out-of-class project (e.g., research grants), ask your faculty-staff mentor if the project can be STLR-tagged for credit.
5. Visit STLR-Tagged LocationsWhen visiting a STLR-tagged UCO location, look for STLR banners or swipers. If unsure about receiving credit, ask staff. If a location exposes you to STLR tenets but is not tagged, inquire about the possibility of future tagging.
