
This online Master of Arts (MA) program in Sustainable Fashion positions you as a leader in transforming the fashion industry. It empowers you to disrupt outdated systems and pioneer new approaches that address fashion's environmental, social, and economic impacts by focusing on planetary well-being. You'll develop groundbreaking design concepts, situating your projects within community settings to question industry norms and reframe fashion systems using regenerative and life-centered design principles. The curriculum integrates cutting-edge concepts like Fibresheds, circular systems, degrowth economics, biodesign, and frontier technologies. The MA program requires completion of four 30-credit modules and a 60-credit Major Project, totaling 180 credits. All modules are compulsory. The PGDip requires four 30-credit modules (120 credits total) and does not include a Major Project. Module content is subject to review and may be updated.
This course aims to establish you as an entrepreneurial industry leader by developing sustainable and collaborative solutions for self-identified problems within the fashion system. You will gain project management skills, networking techniques, and strategy development expertise to bring clarity to complex projects.
