This part-time program allows you to combine study with work, enabling you to translate your expertise in areas like animal care, plant science, agriculture, or nature into engaging and practical education. This flexible program is designed to adapt to your previous education and work experience. Upon enrollment, you'll work with the university to create a personalized study plan, potentially granting you exemptions for prior learning. You'll gain pedagogical and didactic skills to effectively teach at vocational (VMBO, MBO) and practical education levels, helping students discover their talents and equip them for future careers in a sustainable world. Beyond teaching, the program develops you into a knowledge manager capable of addressing societal challenges within the green domain. Your previous education and work experience will be assessed to determine your personal study plan and potential exemptions. If you are already working as an unqualified teacher, you may qualify for a shortened track (Zij-instroom in Beroep) or the Pedagogical Didactic Certificate (PDG) for MBO teaching.

You need a minimum of an MBO level 4, HAVO, or VWO diploma, or an equivalent recognized foreign diploma. Applicants aged 21 or older without the required education can take a 21+ Admission Test.
