The University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) offers Transformative Learning Awards to recognize and encourage students' participation in significant educational experiences. These awards are administered by the UCO Center for Excellence in Transformative Teaching and Learning (CETTL). The goal is to foster deep engagement with learning opportunities that go beyond traditional classroom settings. The Masonic Transformative Learning Award is an annual award funded by a generous donation from the Masonic Fraternity of Oklahoma. It aims to acknowledge UCO programs or initiatives that develop, encourage, or support transformative learning for students. Nominations typically occur in the spring semester. The Student Transformative Learning Endowment Scholarship is a cash award for students demonstrating a commitment to enhancing their Student Transformative Learning Record (STLR). Priority may be given to specific student groups, such as underrepresented students in STEM, in different years. Applications usually align with the UCO Foundation Scholarships deadline in February.
Tuition and fees are subject to change. Students can use the UCO Tuition Calculator for estimated costs. Additional fees apply for specific courses, colleges, and services, including a non-refundable application fee ($40 for undergraduate, $60 for graduate) and a Student ID Fee ($25).
