This certificate program provides a combination of in-depth theory and hands-on lab practice focused on the latest truck and coach technology. The program is structured to include both classroom training and a work placement component. You will gain practical experience working on a variety of truck and coach manufacturers' vehicles and system components. Upon completion, you will be eligible to write your provincial certificate of qualification exam.
The program consists of 32 weeks of in-class training and includes eight required courses. This is followed by a four-week work placement with a potential employer.
This program prepares you for a career as a skilled technician in the transportation industry. Upon graduation, you will be ready to enter the workforce or pursue further education.
You must be legally able to work in Canada. Admission is competitive and offered on a first-come, first-served basis for qualified applicants. You will need to complete a program interview questionnaire after applying.

Upon graduation, you will be prepared for roles such as Truck technician, Coach technician, or Junior truck technician. The program also makes you eligible to write your provincial certificate of qualification exam.
