The Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) at Holmes Grammar School provides a comprehensive secondary education for students in Years 11 and 12. This program prepares students for future academic pursuits or vocational pathways. Students can choose from a range of subjects to tailor their learning experience. The VCE Vocational Major is also offered, focusing on practical skills for direct entry into vocational training or the workforce.
The VCE program is structured over two years, Year 11 and Year 12, with various subject options available. The VCE Vocational Major includes specific units focused on personal development, work-related skills, literacy, and numeracy, alongside a Certificate II in Workplace Skills.
Students who do not meet the English Language requirement may enroll in a preparatory English Language program from OHC English Dublin.
Holmes Grammar School reserves the right to make changes to its subject offerings.
The VCE program is accredited by QQI (Quality and Qualifications Ireland) and is included on the ILEP. The Certificate II in Workplace Skills is delivered by Headmasters Academy Pty Ltd (RTO Code 4639).
