Master: Mechanical Engineering
The Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bordeaux aims to train scientific and technical managers for roles in Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Graduates are prepared for positions in design, methods, R&D, consulting, and industrial production. The program is structured around five specializations: Energy Engineering (focusing on energy efficiency and renewables), Mechanical Engineering (advanced design, simulation, and business engineering), Civil Engineering (project management, structural analysis according to European standards), Fluids-Transfers-Materials in Aeronautical and Space Applications (an international track entirely in English), and Fundamental Mechanics and Applications (more theoretical, leading to R&T innovation, available in the second year). The Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering tracks are part of a "Cursus Master en Ingénierie" (CMI) labeled by the Figure network.
