This Bachelor's program in International Relations provides a comprehensive education for aspiring professionals in the field. International Relations

The Department of International Relations at Nankai University has a rich history, tracing its roots back to the Department of Political Science established in 1923. Re-established in 1984, the department began admitting undergraduate students in international politics in 1994, and the Department of International Relations was officially founded in June 2003. It currently comprises three former research offices: international relations, international politics, and diplomatic research. The department boasts a strong faculty of 17 professors, including 4 PhD advisors, 8 associate professors, and 5 assistant professors, all holding PhD degrees and with international experience. Notable academics, past and present, have been associated with the department, and several international figures have held honorary professorships. The department is recognized for its expertise in international theories and methodology, global governance, European Union studies, American foreign policy, and China-US relations, conducting significant national and provincial research projects.
