Pre-Sessional English Programmes

The University of Huddersfield offers Pre-Sessional English Programmes (PSP) designed to enhance your English language and academic study skills, preparing you for direct entry into your chosen degree course. These programmes are delivered entirely online and the duration varies from 6 to 12 weeks, depending on your current English proficiency. Successful completion of the PSP, along with meeting any other offer conditions, will lead to an Unconditional Offer for your degree, and you will receive a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) for your main programme. This pathway ensures you are well-equipped for academic success in the UK. There are two main entry points for degree programmes each year: September and January. The PSP offers multiple start dates throughout the year to align with these degree intakes. To be considered for a PSP, you must hold a conditional offer for a degree at the University of Huddersfield. The course fees for the PSP are separate from your degree tuition fees and must be paid in full before you commence your studies. A deposit for your degree course will also be required as outlined in your offer letter.
