Artificial Intelligence MSc

This Master of Science (MSc) in Artificial Intelligence (AI) provides a comprehensive understanding of the techniques and methods used to solve complex problems that traditional computing approaches find challenging. The course covers key areas such as fuzzy logic, evolutionary computing, neural networks, and natural language processing. You will gain practical skills in computational techniques and learn how to apply them to diverse real-world problems, with opportunities to explore applications in robot control and game development. The curriculum includes studying neural systems, natural language processing, and research methods. You will develop practical skills in a dedicated robotics laboratory equipped with various mobile robots. The applied computational intelligence module delves into knowledge-based systems, the historical and future implications of AI, and current research and applications. The course content is informed by research from DMU's Institute of Artificial Intelligence (IAI), which has an international reputation for its work on fuzzy logic, neural networks, evolutionary computing, mobile robotics, and biomedical informatics.
