Radiographers are essential healthcare professionals who use advanced imaging technology to help diagnose injuries and diseases. They operate equipment to create diagnostic images of bones, tissues, and organs, carefully controlling radiation exposure to minimize patient risk. Their responsibilities also include maintaining patient records, monitoring equipment, assisting with procedures like fluoroscopy and contrast studies, and performing imaging for trauma patients and in operating room settings. This Associate in Science program trains students to become skilled radiographers. The program has a limited number of seats available each year, requiring a specific application process and adherence to deadlines. Graduates are eligible to apply for state licensure and national certification exams.
