This BA (Hons) Acting is a vocational program designed to equip students with the skills needed for a career in theatre, radio, TV, and film, with recent additions including motion capture and animation. The course seeks curious, imaginative, and energetic individuals driven to tell stories. Training is provided by industry experts with extensive experience in directing, voice, movement, acting, and theatre-making, many of whom are active researchers in performance. The MA/MFA Performance programme is a practice-led master's degree designed for graduates and artists interested in contemporary performance-making and training. It offers an interdisciplinary approach, allowing students to develop advanced practical skills and a deep understanding of current performance practices and theoretical influences. The core of the programme focuses on developing new creative work and understanding how to present it professionally. Students can choose to specialise in either Laboratory Theatre, focusing on performer training and dramaturgy, or Contemporary Performance, concentrating on innovative and experimental performance art, dance, and theatre.
