This program typically takes 1.5 to 2 years of full-time study to complete and is designed to enhance your advanced knowledge and research methodologies. The MPhil is an independent research endeavor, requiring a strong academic background for admission. Applicants may need to submit a research proposal and supporting documents. The University of Queensland (UQ) admits approximately 500 MPhil students annually, engaged in research across a diverse range of subjects. Many MPhil graduates choose to continue their academic journey by pursuing a PhD.
