The RMIT University Academic Merit Scholarship for South East Asia is designed to support high-achieving international students from eligible Southeast Asian countries to pursue their studies at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. This scholarship offers a 20% reduction in tuition fees for the entire duration of your eligible course. This scholarship specifically targets citizens of Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam. It is awarded based on academic merit and aims to ease the financial burden for students committed to their academic goals. To be considered, prospective students must be applying from outside Australia and hold or plan to obtain a student visa. It is crucial to meet the academic entry requirements and secure an offer letter for an eligible program. The scholarship has limited availability and operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so early application and acceptance of your offer are highly recommended.
Applying for the Academic Merit Scholarship is straightforward as it is automatically considered once you apply for an eligible course and meet the criteria.
Exclusions apply to the following degrees: AD023 Associate Degree in Aviation (Professional Pilots) and BP345 Bachelor of Aviation (Pilot Training). The scholarship is only applicable to eligible courses and duration on your initial offer letter. If you change courses later, the scholarship may continue to apply if the new course is not on the exclusion list.
