How to apply
Applying for the College of Design and Social Context Student Bursary is integrated with your application to RMIT University. Follow these steps:

Eligibility
International Student StatusYou must be an international student holding a valid student visa or have plans to apply for one before your degree commences.
Offer LetterYou must have an existing full or conditional offer letter to commence studies in an eligible College of Design and Social Context course at RMIT.
Commencing StudentYou must be a commencing student at RMIT. This bursary is not for existing RMIT students (including RMIT Vietnam students).
Academic AchievementYou must have achieved an Australian equivalent grade GPA of 2.0 or 60% average or ATAR 60 in your qualifying qualification at the time of application.
Eligible Programs - Semester 2 2026 IntakeAny College of Design and Social Context course (excluding Master by Research or PhD).
Eligible Programs - Semester 3 2026 IntakeMaster of Project Management and Master of Energy Efficient and Sustainable Building.
Other Scholarships/SponsorshipsYou must not be receiving another RMIT-funded scholarship or Australia Awards scholarship that covers tuition fees. Applicants under foreign government scholarships (e.g., LPDP, MARA) are eligible.
The bursary is non-refundable and will be revoked if you no longer hold a student visa. It is only applicable to the eligible course(s) on your initial offer letter and cannot be deferred to a later intake. Selection is based on academic merit and availability.
