- Full Tuition Fee Scholarship — For ten eligible students undertaking a PhD program (maximum 4 years) or a Masters by Research program (maximum 2 years). No possibility of extension. Scholarships distributed evenly across RMIT's three Colleges.
- HonduFuturo Contribution — Up to USD 25,000 per year for a maximum of 2 years to cover remaining tuition fees, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), living costs, and other related expenses.
How to apply
The application process involves several key steps, starting with your academic application to RMIT and then applying for the HonduFuturo scholarship-loan:
- Step 1: Choose Your Degree — Select an eligible Master's or PhD program at RMIT University that is available for international students.
- Step 2: Apply to RMIT — Submit your application for admission to your chosen postgraduate program at RMIT University. You must receive an offer of admission.
- Step 3: Submit HonduFuturo Scholarship Application — After receiving an offer from RMIT, submit an application for the HonduFuturo scholarship-loan scheme directly through HonduFuturo.

CitizenshipMust be a citizen of Honduras.
Admission OfferMust have received an offer for a Master by Coursework, Masters by Research, or PhD program at RMIT University.
HonduFuturo AwardeeMust be an awardee of the HonduFuturo scholarship-loan scheme.
Enrolment StatusMust commence full-time enrolment as an onshore international student.
Students are responsible for providing additional living costs beyond the two years covered by HonduFuturo, and for arranging their own visa and associated expenses, Student Services and Amenities Fees (SSAF), accommodation, travel, books, equipment, and other personal expenses.
