The HonduFuturo-RMIT University Joint Scholarship is a collaborative initiative between RMIT University and Fundación HonduFuturo, designed to support talented students from Honduras pursue postgraduate studies in Australia. This scholarship provides significant financial assistance for Master by Coursework, Master by Research, and PhD programs across all disciplines at RMIT University. This joint scholarship aims to make world-class education accessible to Honduran students, covering a substantial portion of their tuition fees and contributing to living expenses. Successful applicants will benefit from both RMIT University's tuition fee reductions or full scholarships and HonduFuturo's financial support for additional costs, creating a comprehensive funding package for their studies. To be considered for this prestigious award, prospective students must first secure an offer of admission from RMIT University for a qualifying postgraduate program and then successfully apply for a scholarship-loan from HonduFuturo. This pathway ensures that the most promising Honduran scholars receive the necessary support to thrive academically at RMIT.
The application process involves several key steps, starting with your academic application to RMIT and then applying for the HonduFuturo scholarship-loan:
Students are responsible for providing additional living costs beyond the two years covered by HonduFuturo, and for arranging their own visa and associated expenses, Student Services and Amenities Fees (SSAF), accommodation, travel, books, equipment, and other personal expenses.
