The Medibank High Achiever International Scholarship, valued at AU$20,000, is designed for high-achieving international students currently completing their Australian Year 12 or International Baccalaureate in Australia. How to apply
Follow these steps to apply for the Medibank High Achiever International Scholarship:
- Step 1: Choose Your Course — Select an Associate or Undergraduate degree program at RMIT University that you wish to study.
- Step 2: Apply via VTAC — Submit your Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) application to study at RMIT University.
- Step 3: Submit Scholarship Application — Complete and submit the dedicated scholarship application form.
Eligibility
Current Study LocationMust be applying from Australia.
Academic StatusMust be a current Year 12 student in Australia, graduating in 2026, or completing the International Baccalaureate in Australia.
Student VisaMust be an international student holding a valid student visa or planning to apply for one prior to program commencement.
RMIT ApplicationMust submit your application via VTAC and receive an offer from RMIT for an Associate or Undergraduate degree.
Prior RMIT EnrollmentMust NOT be an existing RMIT student.
Academic Merit (Selection)Achieve an ATAR higher than 90 (or equivalent IB score).
Extracurricular/Leadership (Selection)Show participation in extracurricular or leadership activities, or engagement in community/volunteer work.
Other ScholarshipsMust not be in receipt of any other RMIT scholarship.
Applicants must include a short statement (up to 200 words) explaining why they are a strong candidate based on the academic merit and extracurricular/leadership criteria.

Selection
Scholarship selection is based on academic merit (ATAR > 90), demonstrated involvement in extracurricular or community activities, and personal qualities as expressed in the short statement. Scholarships are offered on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis until all available scholarships are awarded. Unsuccessful applicants will not be contacted.
