- Tuition Fees — A discount of 35% (for 2026 commencement) or 40% (for 2027 commencement) on the total program fee for an Academic English course. This means you would pay approximately $355 per week (2026) or $339 per week (2027) after the discount.
- Enrolment Fee — The standard $260 enrolment fee will be waived.
How to apply
Applying for the RMIT UP Academic English Bursary is integrated into the general application process for RMIT University Pathways.
- Step 1: Choose your course — Select an Academic English course available for international students at RMIT University Pathways (RMIT UP).
- Step 2: Complete your application — Submit your application to study at RMIT. Ensure all required documentation for international student admission is provided.
- Step 3: Accept your offer — If you meet the eligibility criteria and places are available, your offer letter will be issued with the bursary discount already applied to your tuition fees.

The bursary will be paid directly towards your Academic English course tuition fees. Students may apply for and be awarded the bursary for programs longer than 10 weeks. This bursary cannot be deferred to another year and must be taken up in the intake year for which it is awarded. RMIT University reserves the right to discontinue this discount at any time.
