Classes are taught in both Polish and German by Polish and German lecturers. Polish law courses are held in Polish at Collegium Polonicum in Słubice, while German law courses are taught in German at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder). Both cities are connected by a bridge over the Oder River, and the institutions are a short walk apart. Successful participation requires a solid foundation in German. The European University Viadrina offers a preparatory language program to support students. If your German proficiency is at the B2/C1 level, you can enroll in a one-month 'Viadrina Law Track' course before commencing your studies.
