Chinese Language Course

This course is designed for senior students of the Faculty of Chemistry at Lomonosov Moscow State University. It aims to provide foundational knowledge of the Chinese language and culture, recognizing the growing importance of Sino-Russian cooperation. The curriculum focuses on developing practical communication skills, including speaking, listening, reading Chinese characters, and writing. It also emphasizes understanding technical documentation in Chinese, a skill increasingly valuable for chemistry and technology specialists. The course utilizes established textbooks such as "New Practical Course of Chinese" by Liu Xun et al. and "Practical Course of Chinese" by Kondrashevsky et al. Successful completion of the course is expected to prepare students to pass the HSK Level 3 or 4 examinations, which correspond to the B1-B2 levels of the CEFR, demonstrating a solid understanding of modern Chinese.
