This Bachelor of Commerce Honours programme focuses on the Economic Analysis of Financial Markets, designed to equip you with the skills needed for a successful career in the financial sector. Entry requirements
Bachelor's degree from a recognised institutionMinimum of 60% average in Level 7/8 subjects.
Foundational CoursesSuccessful completion of Statistics (e.g., STA1000), Mathematics (e.g., MAM1010), Economics (e.g., ECO1010 & ECO1011), Financial Accounting (e.g., ACC 1006), and Financial Management (e.g., FTX2024), with a minimum final grade of 60% in each.
Applicants not meeting the exact foundational course requirements may be required to pass an entrance examination in the relevant subject(s). Previous completion of more advanced courses in a discipline may waive the 60% minimum for foundational courses. A final year average below 60% does not exempt applicants from entrance examinations. Applicants with a sub-minimum of 40% for the Long Paper may revise and resubmit it once, with a maximum achievable grade of 50%.
