This Bachelor of Arts degree provides an opportunity to become fluent in Bulgarian and gain in-depth knowledge of the history, culture, and geopolitics of the region. Concurrently, you will develop excellent Ukrainian language skills and explore the literature, history, and culture of Ukraine. Taught at UCL's School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES), one of the UK's largest departments for the study of Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, the Baltics, the Caucasus, and Central Asia, this programme offers a comprehensive linguistic and cultural education. You will spend your third year abroad, split between two countries where your chosen languages are spoken, gaining immersive experience.
