Upper Secondary QualificationCompletion of Finnish matriculation examination, International Baccalaureate (IB), European Baccalaureate (EB), Reifeprüfung/Die Deutsche Internationale Abiturprüfung in Finland, or any comparable qualification granting university-level Bachelor's study eligibility in the country of origin.
SATRequired for applicants using qualifications other than Finnish matriculation, IB, EB, or Reifeprüfung. Minimum scores: 600 for Mathematics, 1150 for total (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing + Mathematics). SAT results must be no more than two years old and sent directly by the organiser to the university. The test must be taken by January 28, 2026.
SATSAT results can serve as proof of English proficiency for applicants using the SAT for admission.
Other internationally recognized English testsApplicants must provide proof of excellent English skills through a recognized test or previous degree. Specific requirements and accepted tests are detailed on the university's language requirements page.
Applicants with a Bachelor's or higher degree in ICT or Computer Science from a Finnish University or University of Applied Sciences are not eligible. Students cannot hold more than one Bachelor's or Master's study right at the same Faculty; accepting a place may forfeit previous study rights at the Faculty of Technology.

How to apply
1. Complete ApplicationFill out the online application form on the Studyinfo portal (www.studyinfo.fi) during the application period.
2. Submit Required DocumentsUpload scanned copies of original documents, including proof of eligibility, SAT results (if applicable), proof of English proficiency (or SAT scores if used for admission), passport/ID, and residence permit card (if applicable). Official translations into English, Finnish, or Swedish by an authorized translator or the awarding institution are required for documents not originally in these languages.
3. Send SAT Scores (if applicable)Official SAT results must be sent directly by the test organizer to the University of Turku by January 28, 2026, 15:00 (GMT +2). A copy of the SAT result report must also be attached to the application by the same deadline.
4. Accept Study OfferIf offered a study place, you must formally accept it by the specified deadline (July 9, 2026). Admitted students must also pay the tuition fee by July 31, 2026, to confirm their place.
5. Submit Final DocumentsOriginal documents must be provided to the university by May 31, 2026. If you have not yet graduated, the deadline for submitting final certificates is August 11, 2026.
