Entry requirements
SEAS RequirementsAt least 25 SEAS credits, fulfill SEAS core and specialization requirements, two analytics courses (including statistics), and an integrative master's capstone.
Urban and Regional Planning RequirementsAt least 30 MURP credits, a course in economics (EAS 570 can fulfill this), URP 506 (Planning Methods), URP 507 (Planning Practice Techniques), URP 502 or 503 (Planning and Law), URP 500 or 501 (Planning Theory), URP 510 (Fiscal Planning and Management), and a Capstone experience (studio, thesis, or project) which can also fulfill the SEAS capstone requirement.
Applicants must meet the admission standards for both the School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS) and Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning. If already enrolled in a Rackham program, a 'Dual Admission' application is required. A 'dual degree election' form must be completed and approved by both SEAS and Taubman before graduation to confirm completion of all requirements.
