The Master’s Degree Programme in Materials Engineering: Health Technology Materials focuses on training experts in the field of biomaterials, specifically for applications in health technology. You will explore how biomaterials are developed to meet the demands of diagnostic, medical, and dental applications, and understand the function of medical instruments and biosignal processing. Applicants can only apply to one specialization track within the Master's Degree Programme in Materials Engineering at the University of Turku. Admission is based on the relevance of the degree, GPA, language test results, a motivation letter, and possibly an interview.
Tuition fees apply to citizens outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland. The first year's tuition fee must be paid before registering. An 'Early Bird' discount of 2,000 € is available if the study offer is accepted and the fee is paid within 28 days of the admission decision.
