You can choose to specialize in areas like particle and astrophysics, experimental nuclear physics, experimental particle physics, or theoretical particle physics. Graduates will possess extensive knowledge and be familiar with current research topics, preparing them for diverse career paths in industry, research, and development.
The curriculum is highly flexible, allowing you to tailor your study and competency profile. The first year can be individually designed with the help of a mentor. The program concludes with a Master's thesis.

Applicants with a qualification for postgraduate studies obtained outside of Germany must have their documents reviewed in advance through uni-assist (Preliminary Documentation).
A semester fee for the student union must be paid additionally, varying by location. Waivers and scholarships may be available for international students.
