
This interdisciplinary Bachelor's program offers a comprehensive understanding of the human body within the context of physical activity and sports. You will gain fundamental knowledge and skills in areas such as movement and training science, biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, sports medicine, sport psychology, sport pedagogy, sport communication, and sport management. The program structure includes core studies, a practical internship, and a specialization phase, allowing for personalized career preparation. Some modules are taught in English to enhance international career prospects.
The Bachelor's program in Sport Science is structured in three phases. The first three semesters focus on conveying fundamental knowledge. The fourth semester includes a 20-week internship for professional orientation. The fifth and sixth semesters allow for individual specialization.
Graduates can pursue career opportunities in various sectors, including sports clubs, associations, healthcare, sport management, sport communication, and commercial sports companies. The Bachelor's degree also qualifies for further academic study, including Master's programs.
A semester fee of 97.00 EUR (for Munich campus) must be paid additionally per semester. International students from third countries are charged tuition fees from winter semester 2024/25 onwards. Waivers and scholarships may be available.

The standard duration of the full-time Bachelor of Science program in Sport Science is 6 semesters.
Sufficient German language skills are required for admission. Proof of proficiency must be submitted by the application deadline, although some modules are taught in English.
International applicants with foreign higher education entrance qualifications must have their documents pre-checked by uni-assist. You will then submit your application and required documents through the TUMonline portal during the application period.
The application period for the Winter Semester is from May 15th to July 15th.
