English is the language of instruction. A language test score is required if your first language is not English AND your four most recent years of full-time education have NOT been in an English-language school system. Exemptions may apply for those who have studied in Canada in English, are Francophone Canadians, or have completed four recent years of full-time education in an English-language school system. Official transcripts or a letter from previous schools confirming the language of instruction are required for exemption claims. Full-time English as a Second Language (ESL) programs do not qualify for exemptions. Test scores must be official and sent directly from the testing agency. TOEFL MyBest Scores and TOEFL Essentials are not accepted.
