MPH Context Certificate: Global Health

The Department of Global Health at Boston University focuses on advancing the health and well-being of individuals and communities worldwide through research, education, and outreach. The department addresses key global health challenges such as poverty, disease, and inequity, with specific interests in infectious diseases, maternal and child health, noncommunicable diseases, access to medicines, health systems strengthening, and economic/policy analysis. The program emphasizes practice-based education, equipping students with skills to manage programs aimed at reducing disease and inequality, particularly in lower and middle-income countries. Faculty engage in significant research across various global regions.
