Practical Nursing, Technical Certificate

The Practical Nursing program at National Park College is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in the healthcare field. This 11-month program requires full-time commitment, with classes held Monday through Friday. The curriculum includes a blend of classroom instruction, laboratory simulation, and clinical education. Courses are sequential, meaning each must be successfully completed before moving to the next. While there are no formal prerequisites for admission, relevant college courses like Anatomy and Physiology may be considered towards the certificate, subject to evaluation by the Program Director and Dean of Nursing. Science coursework must have been completed within the last seven years. Admission to the program is selective and based on a points system.

Practice Education PgCert

This Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert) in Practice Education at Kingston University is designed for registered social workers who want to develop the skills to train and mentor the next generation of social work professionals. You will gain the qualifications necessary for Stages 1 and 2 of the Practice Educator Professional Standards (PEPS) recognised by the British Association of Social Workers (BASW). This pathway, combined with your Master's degree, is managed through a single Integrated Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (iCAS), allowing you to study on one visa for the entire duration.

You can choose to major in Biology, Biochemistry, or other science programs, and then seamlessly transition to optometry training at UMSL.
