This Master of Science program focuses on equipping you with essential skills in science management, marketing, and communication. The Science Management track integrates current academic management principles with real-world applications in science. The Science Marketing specialization addresses the competitive landscape of science by fostering business-oriented skills such as fundraising, branding, and public relations. The program is designed for part-time study over four semesters (90 credit points) and utilizes a blended learning format. This involves eight intensive classroom sessions spread over two years, typically held on Wednesdays and Saturdays, followed by six-week online learning periods. Science Research Programme (SRP)

The Science Research Programme (SRP) is a prestigious research attachment opportunity for highly capable 17 and 18-year-old students from junior colleges and Integrated Programme (IP) schools in Singapore. Initiated in 1988 by the Faculty of Science in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the program aims to provide motivated students with a challenging academic experience. Participants work on research projects under the guidance of experienced academics and scientists in a genuine research setting. Students enrolled in SRP have the option to participate in either the H3 version, which is examinable, or the enrichment version, which is non-examinable. This program is designed for students who aspire to engage with advanced scientific inquiry and gain early exposure to a university research environment.

Sciences of Education and Training Processes

This Bachelor's degree program focuses on the processes of education and training, preparing students for roles as socio-pedagogical educators. The course is structured with two distinct pathways, allowing students to specialize in early childhood education (for services catering to children aged 0-3) or in working with school-aged children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly in various personal service and training settings. The program includes practical laboratory activities designed to develop design and operational skills in educational contexts, alongside essential language and computer competencies. To graduate, students must earn 180 university credits (CFU), typically acquired by completing around 60 credits per year through coursework, examinations, and other teaching methods. The final assessment is graded out of 110.

The program fosters student success and professional integration through exclusive partnerships with leading public service institutions (like INSP, INET), public bodies (Banque de France, Commissariat des armées), and businesses via the 'Club des partenaires'. Scottish Graduate Entry Medicine (ScotGEM) MBChB

The Scottish Graduate Entry Medicine (ScotGEM) MBChB is a four-year programme designed for graduates who wish to pursue a career in medicine, with a specific focus on generalist practice within NHS Scotland. This innovative course is delivered through a partnership between the Universities of St Andrews and Dundee, in collaboration with NHS Fife, NHS Tayside, NHS Highland, NHS Dumfries and Galloway, and the University of the Highlands and Islands. The programme aims to prepare adaptable and compassionate clinical leaders ready to serve in rural and community settings. Years 1 and 2 are primarily based at the University of St Andrews, while Years 3 and 4 are led by the University of Dundee. Students should be prepared for periods of living and studying in rural areas across Scotland.

Scottish-Canadian Medical Programme

The Scottish-Canadian Medical Programme is a unique six-year collaborative program between the Universities of St Andrews, Edinburgh, and Alberta. Designed for Canadian students, it offers the opportunity to study medicine in the UK before returning to Canada to practice. The first three years are spent at the University of St Andrews, focusing on foundational medical sciences, clinical skills, and research, culminating in an Honours Bachelor's degree in Medicine. Students then automatically transfer to the University of Edinburgh for years four, five, and six, where they complete their MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery). During the Edinburgh phase, students undertake an 18-week attachment at the University of Alberta, providing valuable exposure to the Canadian healthcare system and preparation for residency applications. Graduates are considered International Medical Graduates (IMGs) in Canada.

Scripps Institution of Oceanography PhD Programs

The Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego offers PhD programs across three broad academic areas: Climate, Ocean, and Atmosphere (COAP); Geosciences of the Earth, Oceans and Planets (GEO); and Ocean Biosciences (OBP). SCSO4303: Re/reading Social Sciences 2024/2025
