Structure Elucidation by NMR

This course focuses on the practical application of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy for determining the structures of organic and bioorganic compounds. It is designed for students in their 6th semester of D-CHAB, D-BIOL, or D-UMNW programs, as well as PhD students and postdoctoral researchers specializing in organic and bioorganic chemistry. The emphasis is on real-world problem-solving using advanced NMR techniques. Throughout the semester, you will gain hands-on experience with multi-pulse and 2D-NMR methods. The course will equip you with the skills to analyze complex spectral data and solve constitutional, configurational, and conformational problems in organic chemistry. All instruction and materials are provided in English.
