The Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at Yale School of Medicine is an ACGME-accredited program designed to train physicians in the comprehensive care of critically ill adult patients. The fellowship emphasizes the pathophysiology and perioperative implications of surgical, cardiac, thoracic, traumatic, and medical conditions requiring intensive care. Fellows will gain experience working with multiple solid organ transplant teams and will rotate through surgical/trauma, cardiac surgery, and medical intensive care units. Electives, research opportunities, and focus on personal interests are encouraged.
