Chemistry (Major)
Chemistry is considered the 'central science' as it connects other scientific disciplines like physics, biology, and geology. This major, offered within the Bachelor of Science, focuses on the molecular level where significant advancements are happening in medicine, nanotechnology, sensors, and environmental science. You will develop theoretical and practical chemistry skills, including synthesis, analysis, and spectroscopy, primarily in laboratories at Curtin’s Resources and Chemistry Precinct.
