Editorial Design Master of Arts

The Master of Arts in Editorial Design at Fachhochschule Dortmund is a practice-oriented program focused on developing independent, responsible, and visionary professionals. The curriculum is inter- and cross-media, integrating both digital and analog methods. You will explore questions related to media-specific design for publications like books, magazines, and newspapers, visual research, authorship, and the strategic application of media. The program is designed to enhance your skills in visual research, conceptual development, and strategic thinking within the field of editorial design. You will benefit from the expertise of full-time faculty and guest lecturers who are leaders in their respective fields. The university provides access to well-equipped workshops covering various analog and digital printing techniques, virtual reality, photography, and film. This three-semester program begins in the summer semester. The first two semesters include significant design modules and a science module focused on media. The third semester is dedicated to a practical module and the master's thesis. Learning methods include project work, seminars, lectures, excursions, and workshops. Application is open from December to January.

EdM in Elementary Education

The Master of Education (EdM) in Elementary Education program at Boston University's Wheelock College of Education & Human Development is designed for individuals with an undergraduate degree who aim to become licensed elementary school teachers (Grades 1–6). The program emphasizes research-based pedagogical principles, an interdisciplinary approach to teaching, and collaborative learning within a supportive community. EdM in Mathematics Education

The EdM in Mathematics Education is designed for current or aspiring teachers who are passionate about teaching and aim to enhance their academic knowledge and instructional skills. This program focuses on the latest research, curricula, methodologies, and theories in mathematics education. It is particularly suitable for individuals who already hold a teaching license or do not intend to pursue one, as it does not lead to initial licensure. The curriculum is flexible and can be tailored to individual student needs and backgrounds. Full-time students can complete the degree in one academic year, while many teachers opt to study part-time while continuing their careers.

EDMA – Mathematics PhD

Mathematics is a fundamental discipline that serves as the language of science and a precise tool for reasoning about the world. At EPFL, research in mathematics is broad, encompassing fundamental areas like algebra, analysis, geometry, probability, and topology, as well as applied fields such as numerical analysis, optimization, statistics, and data science. This PhD program provides a strong academic environment, advanced coursework, and training designed to equip doctoral candidates with advanced mathematical knowledge and research skills. Graduates are prepared for careers in academia, industrial research, finance, data science, engineering, and education, where strong quantitative and analytical abilities are highly valued.

EDMT – Management for Technology PhD

The Doctoral Program in Management of Technology (EDMT) at EPFL offers a comprehensive curriculum and research opportunities in an interdisciplinary setting. It integrates expertise from engineering, finance, mathematics, economics, and partner EuroTech universities. The Education Department at Wagner College offers a range of programs for aspiring educators, including undergraduate degrees (B.A., B.S.) and Master of Education (M.S.Ed.) degrees. All programs are designed to lead to New York State dual certification in general education and special education upon successful completion of program requirements, workshops, and state examinations. Graduates are recognized as effective and proactive professionals in the field. The undergraduate major in Education is a dual major, requiring students to also specialize in Psychology or Theater. A minor in Educational Studies is available for those interested in education without necessarily pursuing a teaching career or who plan to seek graduate-level certification. Undergraduate students gain practical experience through field placements and student teaching at partner schools, collaborating with experts and community stakeholders to develop into well-rounded professionals. Graduate students can choose from three M.S.Ed. programs: Childhood Education/Students with Disabilities (Grades 1-6) for initial certification, Adolescent Education/Students with Disabilities (Grades 7-12) with residency and non-residency options for initial certification, and Early Childhood Education/Students with Disabilities (Birth-2) for advanced certification. All graduate programs also result in dual certification. The department is nationally accredited by AAQEP.

It is particularly beneficial for experienced teachers and graduate teaching assistants aiming to gain specialized expertise and recognized qualifications in this field. The program is delivered by experienced practitioners and is based on evidence-based practices, combining theoretical study with supervised teaching and assessment. Upon completion, you will gain advanced knowledge and practical skills in identifying, assessing, and teaching learners with dyslexia and SpLDs, enabling you to contribute effectively to inclusive educational practices. The course offers flexible learning, with a mix of in-person weekend lectures and online components, allowing you to continue your professional development while managing existing commitments. It provides valuable networking opportunities with other professionals and access to employment information. This PGDip can serve as a stepping stone to specialist roles or as a pathway to further study, such as the MA Education.

This Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies program, with a minor in Education and K-5 Licensure, is designed for students who aspire to teach in public elementary schools (Grades K-5). The program integrates degree and licensure requirements, allowing completion in four years for new students or two years for transfer students. It emphasizes small class sizes for enhanced faculty-student interaction, incorporates field experiences throughout the curriculum, and fosters strong connections with local school systems.

Education – Instructional Leadership Licensure Program

The fully online Instructional Leadership programs at King University are designed for current teachers who hold a teaching license and wish to pursue an administrative license or take on other leadership roles within their schools. The program emphasizes small class sizes, personal attention, and a flexible learning environment, with all classes conducted online in a synchronous format on Thursday evenings. King University provides built-in support for the School Leaders Licensure Assessment (SLLA), a key requirement for administrative positions. An option for a non-licensure track is also available, and the program includes a clinical field experience component for practical application of administrative best practices.

This program offers pathways to licensure for teaching in grades 6-12 and K-12 within Tennessee. To achieve licensure, students must complete an approved academic major with a licensure track, the education minor, and additional licensure requirements. The program emphasizes integrated field experiences, small class sizes for increased faculty interaction, and strong connections with local school systems. Some licensure areas are available in a fully online format.

The PGCE in Mathematics is a postgraduate qualification designed to equip graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to teach Mathematics to students aged 11-18+. This program aligns with the professional competences set by the General Teaching Council for Northern Ireland, granting graduates 'Eligibility to Teach' status, equivalent to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in other regions. The curriculum is structured around three core components: university-based tuition focusing on subject-specific pedagogy and general educational principles, professional school placements to develop practical teaching skills, and a focus on common aspects of teaching and the professional role of an educator. The course also includes optional modules, with specific provisions for those interested in teaching through the Irish language.
