Midwifery (Advanced Training) - Bachelor of Science

This Bachelor of Science program is designed for midwives who have already completed their state-certified training and possess prior professional qualifications. It offers an opportunity to gain an academic qualification alongside their existing credentials. The program acknowledges and credits your existing professional experience and training as a midwife. Upon successful completion, you will not only earn a Bachelor of Science degree but also a certificate for "Advanced Practice in Midwifery," qualifying you to train and supervise future student midwives according to the latest German Midwifery Act. This advanced training is recognized throughout the EU.

Midwifery BSc (Hons)

This Bachelor of Science (BSc) with Honours in Midwifery is designed to prepare you for a rewarding career as a registered midwife. You will gain the skills to provide essential care to women and their families throughout conception, pregnancy, labour, and the postnatal period. The course emphasizes a student-centred approach using problem-based learning to develop your critical decision-making and teamwork abilities. Midwifery Education Program

A significant portion of the program, over half, is dedicated to hands-on clinical practice and interprofessional placements, ensuring students gain practical experience in real-world settings.

Midwifery with Leadership MSci

This unique Midwifery degree program integrates leadership development with essential midwifery training, preparing you to become a registered midwife and advance in your career. Throughout your studies, you will receive mentorship from experienced academics, clinicians, and leaders within the midwifery profession and the wider NHS. The curriculum is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in contemporary midwifery practice and leadership roles.

This short program, 'Communicating Better Through Personality Profiles: Knowing Yourself and Your Colleagues,' is offered by the Continuing Education Centre in Social and Human Sciences at Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). It is designed to enhance communication skills by focusing on understanding personality types and their impact on interactions with colleagues. The program is organized by the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences and is open to returning students.

Mild to Moderate Intervention Specialist License (K-12)

Please note: As of May 13, 2026, Baldwin Wallace University is no longer admitting new students to this specific program as a major. Current students will continue to receive full support to complete their degree requirements. This Intervention Specialist License program is designed for K-12 educators who wish to specialize in supporting students with mild to moderate educational needs. The program consists of 24 semester hours and can be completed in 14 months. It is available both on BW's campus and online, offering flexibility for working professionals. Upon completion, candidates will be qualified to apply for an intervention specialist license in Ohio. It's important to note that the Ohio-mandated 12-hour reading core must be completed before applying for the license, though it is not required at the start of this program.

Military Aerospace and Airworthiness MSc

This MSc program is designed for professionals working within the Ministry of Defence (MoD), armed forces, and the international defence industry. The University of Central Oklahoma Army Reserve Officer’s Training Corps (ROTC) program offers a minor in Military Science.
