The Bachelor of Animal Health & Management at Aeres University of Applied Sciences Dronten is designed for students with a passion for companion animals and a desire to contribute to the future of the pet sector. This unique program focuses entirely on the pet sector, training you as a versatile professional with extensive knowledge of animal health, welfare, and behavior. You will learn to advise pet owners, veterinary practices, and businesses on the latest insights and trends. Furthermore, you will develop skills in target audience analysis, effective campaign development, and storytelling to promote behavioral change, alongside marketing strategies, branding, and sales to successfully launch products and services.
Throughout the program, you will cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset. You will work on assignments for companies and organizations within the sector, complete internships (including one abroad), and conclude with a practice-oriented graduation project. The curriculum covers both national and international aspects of the pet industry, including product marketing, policy development for animal welfare, and effective communication strategies to inspire change.
