Communication, BA

The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication program at San Diego Christian College (SDCC) equips students with essential writing and speaking skills applicable across various fields, including business, academia, and ministry. This joint honours degree allows you to explore your interests in Communication, Media, and Culture alongside International Relations. Communication, Media and Culture delves into the interpersonal connections between individuals, groups, and organisations. Community & Organizational Leadership

You'll develop practical skills for leading with integrity, driving change, and building inclusive organizations. The curriculum emphasizes critical thinking and bold action, equipping you to excel in nonprofit, public service, and educational environments, whether your goal is organizing teams, shaping policy, or guiding organizations toward success.

Community and Justice Services

If you are interested in law, crime, and helping at-risk individuals and communities, the Community and Justice Services program is designed for you. Delivered by the School of Community Care and Public Safety, this program equips you with the expert knowledge and practical skills needed to work with diverse populations, including youth and adults who are at risk, incarcerated, or involved in rehabilitation programs. The curriculum focuses on prevention, intervention, and rehabilitation strategies, alongside practical communication, treatment approaches, group dynamics, program development, case management, and security skills. A significant component of the program includes over 400 hours of placement experience in various settings within the Greater Toronto Area, such as jails, group homes, community centers, courthouses, and schools. Please note that courses are delivered through a combination of in-class, online, and hybrid formats. A minimum grade of C (60%) is required to pass all courses, including those in General Education (GNED) and Communications (COMM).

Community Development

Acadia University's Bachelor of Community Development program is designed for students passionate about creating positive change in communities. Community Health

The Community Health program at Sullivan University equips you with the skills to make a meaningful impact in public and community health. Community Health Education Promotion Major

The Community Health Education Promotion major at Baldwin Wallace University is designed for students passionate about improving lives through health awareness and education. This program prepares you for a career in empowering wellness and creating positive change, focusing on whole-person care and disease prevention. You will learn to plan, implement, and evaluate health education programs for individuals, groups, and communities. Students gain insights and motivational techniques for educating and supporting individuals to make positive health choices. The program emphasizes an integrative approach to wellness, and its proximity to Cleveland provides access to numerous internship opportunities at top hospitals, clinics, corporations, and public health organizations. Please note: As of May 13, 2026, this academic program is no longer admitting new students as a major. However, coursework in this subject area will continue to be offered and will support other academic programs and interdisciplinary learning opportunities at BW. Current students enrolled in this major will continue to receive full support through the completion of their degree.
