BEng in Computer Science

The Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science (BEng(CompSc)) is offered by the newly established School of Computing and Data Science at the University of Hong Kong. This program aims to provide students with a strong foundation in the principles and practices of computer science. The curriculum covers core areas of computing, preparing graduates for a wide range of careers in the technology sector and beyond. The program is designed to foster innovation and critical thinking. Students will engage with cutting-edge topics in computing and data science, supported by experienced faculty and state-of-the-art facilities. The School of Computing and Data Science brings together expertise from the former Department of Computer Science, Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science, and the new Department of AI and Data Science, offering a comprehensive educational experience.
