French Embassy in Ghana Master's Scholarship

Open to Ghanaian nationals residing in Ghana who are under 30 years old at the time of application, hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have completed National Service. A First Class or Second-Class Upper degree is given priority. Applicants must commit to studying in France for the full Master's programme. French language proficiency is not required except for applicants to French as a Foreign Language (FLE) programmes.

Middle East Scholarship for One Young World Summit

Open to young people aged 18 to 30 who are citizens of eligible Middle East countries, have demonstrated leadership qualities, and are working on ideas that address regional or global issues. Applicants should have a track record of innovative thinking and a strong commitment to creating positive change in their community.

Morocco Government Scholarship (AMCI)

For international students — mainly from African and Arab partner countries — who study at Morocco's public universities and higher-education institutes. The scholarship is offered through the Agence Marocaine de Coopération Internationale (AMCI); candidates usually apply through AMCI or the Moroccan embassy in their home country and must be placed at a Moroccan public institution.

OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID)

For students from developing countries (excluding OPEC Fund member countries in some editions) who have completed or are completing a bachelor's degree with strong results, are under the age limit (~23–32 depending on the edition), and have a confirmed or pending admission to a recognised master's programme in a development-related field.

ICETEX (Colombian Institute for Educational Credit and Technical Studies Abroad)

Colombia Government Scholarship for Foreigners (ICETEX)

Open to international students of any nationality except Colombians, who must not have resided in Colombia in the six months before applying and must hold no marital relationship in Colombia. Applicants must be aged up to 50, hold an undergraduate or professional degree with a cumulative average of at least 4.0 out of 5.0, and must not be previous ICETEX scholarship beneficiaries. IELTS is not required.

Central South University (CSU)

Central South University Silk Road Scholarships

Open to outstanding non-Chinese graduates from Belt and Road countries applying for master's or PhD programs at CSU; master's candidates must be under 35 and doctoral candidates under 40, in good health, with a clean legal record, no concurrent sponsorship, and the required HSK, IELTS or TOEFL language scores for the relevant language of instruction.

Open to citizens of ~30+ eligible developing countries (mostly the Indo-Pacific), who are not married to/engaged to an Australian or NZ citizen, meet academic and English requirements, and commit to returning home for at least 2 years after study. Fields must align with the partner country's development priorities.

University of Saskatchewan Scholarships for International Students

Open to international and Indigenous students applying for undergraduate, master's, or PhD study at the University of Saskatchewan across a wide range of fields. Undergraduate applicants are automatically considered for entrance scholarships when they apply for admission and must be high school students outside Canada at the time of application. Master's applicants need a four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent, and PhD applicants need a Master's degree or equivalent in a related field. A separate IELTS is not required where prior education was conducted in English; otherwise an English language test is needed. ILEM Academic Studies Association

International ILEM Summer School

Open to students and junior scholars in related fields who submit a paper proposal for evaluation. Participants of any nationality, origin or age may apply, and people from a range of academic backgrounds are encouraged to submit. Acceptance is based on a proposal reviewed by the summer school's scientific committee, after which a full manuscript is required.

Google Research

Google PhD Fellowship Program

For outstanding graduate students pursuing a PhD in computer science and closely related fields, who are nominated by their university (each eligible university may nominate a limited number of students). Students should have completed graduate coursework and be engaged in research aligned with Google's research areas.

University of Dayton Merit Scholarship for International Students

Open to international applicants of any nationality accepted for first-year or transfer undergraduate admission at the University of Dayton in Ohio, USA for the 2026/2027 year. Applicants must hold a secondary-school diploma and provide proof of English language proficiency (such as a TOEFL or IELTS score). The merit scholarship is awarded automatically on academic merit at the point of admission.

University of Bonn SDG Fellowships

Open to post-doctoral scientists and researchers from developing countries who have a long-term affiliation with a research institution and demonstrated expertise in an area connected to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Applicants must be proficient in English; some fellowships may require German or another language. A host or supervisor at the University of Bonn is normally required.

TDR (UNICEF/UNDP/World Bank/WHO Special Programme) at the University of Ghana

TDR Postgraduate Scholarship in Implementation Research at the University of Ghana

Open to nationals and residents of English-speaking countries in the WHO African Region who are 37 years old or younger, hold a relevant bachelor's degree, and are employed by an academic institution, research organisation, not-for-profit or Ministry of Health in a low- or middle-income country (LMIC). Applicants must meet the University of Ghana's admission requirements, have English proficiency, strong computer skills, and identify a local supervisor or mentor before starting.

Tobe Maki Foundation Scholarship in Japan

Open to students of all nationalities enrolled at a university in Japan between April 2026 and March 2027. Undergraduate applicants must be in their 3rd year or higher, and Master's and PhD students are eligible. Applicants must be under 30 years old as of 1 April 2026, conduct research within the eligible fields, hold a 'Student' residence visa (for international applicants), be self-funded rather than receiving a government scholarship, and demonstrate academic merit, good character, and financial need.

Academy of Korean Studies (AKS)

AKS Graduate Fellowship for International Students

Open to non-Korean citizens (or overseas Koreans who completed their education outside Korea) who are currently enrolled in, or have completed coursework in, a master's or doctoral programme at a non-Korean university and whose research topic relates to Korean Studies. Applicants must not have previously received the AKS Graduate Fellowship. Proficiency in English or Korean is preferred but not mandatory. This is a non-degree, six-month research fellowship in South Korea, not a degree-granting programme.

Xiamen University (Confucius Institute Scholarship / Chinese International Education Foundation)

Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon PhD Position in Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering

Open to applicants who hold a Master's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with strong knowledge of metallurgy, slip/twinning mechanisms and the mechanical behaviour of metals. Experience with magnesium (Mg) alloys, micro-compression or SEM techniques is an advantage. Candidates need strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an interdisciplinary, international environment. The post is a salaried PhD position open to international applicants.
