The Master of Occupational Hygiene program equips you with specialized technical knowledge and skills to identify, assess, and control workplace hazards. Using principles of science and engineering, you will learn to measure exposure to physical, chemical, and biological agents, and develop innovative strategies to prevent ill health and promote safer working environments. The program combines online learning with intensive on-campus block-teaching sessions, utilizing UOW's well-equipped occupational health and safety laboratory. A significant part of the degree involves a research-based capstone project where you'll apply your acquired knowledge to real-world workplace challenges.
