UNICAF

UNICAF Online Scholarship Program

Open to students of any nationality from anywhere in the world who wish to study an online Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree through UNICAF and its partner universities, which include Liverpool John Moores University, the University of Suffolk, and Unicaf University. Applicants are assessed on both academic qualifications and financial circumstances, and applicants whose prior education was not in English must provide evidence of English language competence. Required documents include a high-school diploma or prior degree, passport, CV, motivational letter, study plan, recommendation letters, and a health certificate.

Open to nationals of Sub-Saharan African countries who are either currently in the final year of a PhD program or have completed a PhD within the past three years. Applicants must be under 32 at the application deadline, demonstrate strong written and spoken English, and have strong quantitative and analytical skills in fields relevant to the World Bank Group's work.

Columbia University

Columbia University International Undergraduate Need-Based Aid

For international undergraduate applicants to Columbia University who demonstrate financial need. Columbia meets 100% of the demonstrated financial need of admitted students, including international students, with grants (no loans). Aid is determined by a financial-need assessment, not a separate scholarship competition.

Duke University

Karsh International Scholarship Program

Open to international (non-U.S. citizen, non-permanent-resident) high school students applying for first-year undergraduate admission to Duke University. Candidates must demonstrate financial need through Duke's need-based aid process, show interdisciplinary academic curiosity, and have a record of community engagement. There is no separate scholarship form; international applicants who indicate they are applying for financial aid are automatically considered for the Karsh award.

Blossom Academy

Blossom Academy AI / Data Science Fellowship for Women

Open to women residing in Ghana who want to start a career in data science and artificial intelligence, with or without prior coding experience. The programme is aimed primarily at unemployed women, including recent graduates, career changers and tech-passionate applicants regardless of academic background. Applicants should be available for the full training period and committed to completing the blended learning programme, which combines virtual sessions with in-person workshops.

Duke University

Karsh International Scholarship at Duke University

Open to international undergraduate applicants of all nationalities who demonstrate financial need and a strong commitment to interdisciplinary study and community service. Candidates apply for first-year admission to Duke University and indicate their interest in financial aid; the scholarship is awarded to a small number of admitted students each year. Selection considers academic record, intellectual curiosity and the potential to contribute to Duke's community.

Need-based financial aid covers up to 100% of the tuition fee, which is valued at about $7,000.

Open to academically excellent graduate applicants of any nationality applying for a full-time master's or DPhil (PhD) at the University of Oxford. There is no separate application — you are automatically considered when you apply to Oxford by the relevant course deadline.

Open to applicants of any nationality admitted to the full-time one-year Oxford MBA at Saïd Business School who can demonstrate a track record of entrepreneurial action creating positive social or environmental impact, and for whom the cost of the programme is a significant financial burden.

Open to West African nationals (for example from Nigeria and Ghana) seeking to study the Master of Public Policy at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford. Applicants are generally aged between 25 and 45, hold a strong undergraduate degree (typically second-class upper or above), demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to Africa's public sector, and intend to apply their learning in their home country's public service.

Open to Swedish citizens who hold a doctoral or terminal degree (postdoctoral researchers, recent PhD graduates, and full professors). Dual US-Swedish citizens and US permanent residents are not eligible.

Open only to United States citizens who are non-residents of the UK with no prior UK residence, hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field with a preferred GPA of 3.7 or higher, and are classified as overseas (non-UK) self-funded students applying for a one-year engineering master's at the University of Sheffield for Autumn 2026 entry.

Open to students of any nationality holding (or about to hold) a first/bachelor's degree in a relevant field. You apply directly to an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master consortium; scholarship selection is by the consortium on academic merit and fit, with per-programme prerequisites and English-language requirements.

King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST)

KAUST Global Fellowship Program

For high-achieving international and Saudi students in science, engineering, and technology fields applying for an MS or PhD at KAUST in Saudi Arabia. Strong academics, English proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS), and research potential are required; admission and the fellowship are awarded together — there is no separate scholarship fee.
