Jesus College Cambridge Arts Research Fellowship

Open to UK and international early-career researchers in the arts and humanities who hold an undergraduate degree and are in the final stages of a PhD or have recently completed one. Applicants must have fewer than five years of full-time research experience by 1 October 2026, with allowances for part-time research or mitigating circumstances. Selection is on research excellence and academic potential rather than nationality.

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships

Open to researchers of any nationality who hold a PhD by the call deadline. Applicants must satisfy the MSCA mobility rule: they must not have resided or carried out their main activity in the host country for more than 12 months in the 36 months before the deadline. Each application is submitted jointly with a host institution. European Postdoctoral Fellowships require a host in an EU Member State or Associated Country; Global Postdoctoral Fellowships are open to European nationals or long-term residents and include an outgoing phase outside Europe followed by a mandatory return phase.

Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowships

Open to researchers of any nationality who hold a PhD (or will have defended their doctoral thesis by the call deadline) and have at most 8 years of full-time-equivalent research experience after the PhD. Applicants apply jointly with a host organisation - a university, research institution, business, SME, or other body based in an EU Member State or a country associated to Horizon Europe. European Postdoctoral Fellowships are open to all nationalities for a project inside the EU or an associated country; Global Postdoctoral Fellowships are reserved for EU nationals or long-term residents who carry out a phase in a third country before returning to Europe. Researchers who have been displaced by conflict and those restarting a research career after a break are explicitly encouraged to apply.

For PhD students who have completed at least their first year of doctoral study, are doing research relevant to NVIDIA (such as AI, deep learning, graphics, HPC, autonomous systems), and will be enrolled during the fellowship year. Open to students worldwide; applicants apply directly during the annual window.

Open to U.S. high school seniors who are Pell-eligible, are U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents, and belong to at least one of the following ethnicities: African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American. Applicants must hold a minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale and plan to enrol full-time in a four-year bachelor's degree programme at an accredited, not-for-profit U.S. college or university.

NYCU Taiwan International Scholarship (Spring Intake)

Currently enrolled international students at NYCU (not Taiwanese citizens) holding a minimum GPA of 3.0 (undergraduate) or 3.5 (graduate), who are not recipients of other government scholarships and do not hold a working ARC or visa.

Fully Funded U.S. YES Program 2027 Applications Open for Pakistani Students

The YES Program is open to Pakistani citizens aged 15-17 who are currently enrolled in 8th, 9th, or 10th grade (including O Level equivalents) with strong academic records. Applicants must not have any failing grades in the past three academic years, possess effective English communication skills, and must not have previously traveled to the United States. Dual nationals and siblings/children of YES alumni or specific project staff are ineligible.

UPEACE Somalia Opens 2026 Admissions, Announces Scholarship Opportunities

These scholarships are open to students from Somalia, East Africa, and beyond who are applying for Master’s or Doctoral programmes at UPEACE Somalia. Specific academic qualifications, such as a certified Bachelor's degree for Master's applicants and a certified Master's degree for PhD applicants, are required. UPEACE alumni are also eligible for an enhanced scholarship percentage.

Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR)

OHCHR Indigenous Fellowship Programme

Open to indigenous individuals from any country who self-identify and are recognised as indigenous, are nominated and endorsed by an indigenous organisation or community, have a good working knowledge of at least one programme language (English, Spanish, French, or Portuguese), and are actively engaged in indigenous rights advocacy. There are no age or formal education requirements.

NHR Graduate School (NHR Alliance)

NHR Graduate School PhD Scholarships

Open to candidates of all nationalities who hold a Master's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, mathematics, natural sciences, engineering, or a related discipline, and who meet the doctoral admission criteria of the NHR center they apply to. Applicants must show English proficiency (TOEFL iBT at least 79, IELTS at least 6.5, or equivalent) and a strong commitment to research in high-performance computing or computational science. The Master's must be completed before the programme begins.

Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA) and the NOMIS Foundation

NOMIS-ISTA Fellowship

Open to early-career researchers of any nationality who hold a PhD or expect to obtain one within 8 months of the deadline, have a strong interest in interdisciplinary research, ideally have some postdoctoral experience, can begin the fellowship within 6 months of selection, and have not previously been employed at ISTA. Each project must be co-supervised by two ISTA faculty members from different disciplines, with the option to add an external co-supervisor.

University of Pretoria

University of Pretoria Commonwealth PhD Scholarship

Open to citizens of Commonwealth countries (excluding South Africa) who hold a master's degree completed at least two years before applying and are under 38 years of age at the time of application. Applicants must not be current or former master's or doctoral students at the University of Pretoria. The award funds full doctoral study at UP with tuition coverage, a living allowance, and research support.

BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg PhD Scholarships

Open to doctoral candidates of all nationalities who are admitted or enrolled in a PhD programme at BTU, hold a relevant Master's degree or equivalent, demonstrate strong academic performance and original research motivation, have secured a confirmed BTU supervisor and an acceptance letter (Betreuungszusage), and are affiliated with a specific BTU chair or department. Applicants without an approved BTU supervisor, or whose application was previously rejected, are not eligible.

International Human Frontier Science Program Organization (HFSPO)

HFSP Long-Term Postdoctoral Fellowships

Open to postdoctoral researchers in the life sciences who hold a PhD (or equivalent) awarded roughly within the three years before the deadline. Applicants must be nationals of an HFSP member country, or hold their fellowship at a host institution in a member country, and must move to a host laboratory in a country different from their nationality. At least one first-author peer-reviewed article must be accepted or published by the full-proposal deadline, and the proposed project must be fundamental life-science research that differs substantially from prior PhD or postdoctoral work.

QuestBridge National College Match Scholarship

Open to high-achieving US high school seniors from low-income backgrounds who are US citizens, permanent residents, or students studying in the US regardless of citizenship. Competitive applicants typically earn mostly A's in challenging courses, rank in the top 5-10% of their class, and have strong standardised test results (SAT/PSAT above 1310 or ACT above 28), though each application is read in context. Applicants must demonstrate strong writing, intellectual curiosity and determination through essays and recommendations. Matched students must attend a partner college as a binding-early-decision commitment.

IAPS AI Policy Fellowship Spring 2027

The IAPS AI Policy Fellowship welcomes professionals from diverse backgrounds, including government, academia, technology, law, and international affairs, who are committed to addressing the long-term societal implications of frontier AI. Applicants should demonstrate intellectual curiosity, analytical ability, and a strong interest in responsible AI governance, even without extensive prior AI policy experience. The programme offers full-time and part-time options for exceptional candidates.

UK Government (Marshall Aid Commemoration Commission)

Marshall Scholarship

Open to U.S. citizens who hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. university with a GPA of at least 3.7, graduating within the last ~3 years, who do not already hold a UK degree. Scholars pursue any postgraduate degree at any UK university for one to two years.

The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS)

TWAS Fellowships for PhD and Postdoctoral Research

For researchers from developing countries (especially science- and technology-lagging countries) who hold the required degree for their level and want to pursue a PhD or postdoctoral research at host institutions in the Global South (e.g. China, India, Brazil, Mexico, and others) under TWAS partnership programmes.

Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) – Undergraduate

For non-Korean citizens (with non-Korean parents) generally under ~25 years old who have completed or will complete secondary school, with a strong GPA, applying for undergraduate study in Korea. Apply through either the Korean embassy track or the university track.
