This Bachelor's program in Business Administration (Betriebswirtschaftslehre) equips you with the knowledge and skills to manage and develop companies effectively. You will learn about key business functions including procurement, production, marketing, controlling, finance, human resources, accounting, and taxation. The Dual Study Civil Engineering program at TH OWL offers a unique combination of academic learning and practical experience. You'll gain hands-on skills in a construction company, engineering firm, or public administration while pursuing your degree. This program bridges the gap between theory and practice, preparing you for a successful career in the diverse field of civil engineering. In the initial semesters, you'll study full-time. From the third semester onwards, lectures are concentrated on three days a week, leaving two days for practical work within your partner company. This structure ensures you build a strong theoretical foundation while continuously applying your knowledge in a real-world setting.

This is a bilingual, eight-semester Bachelor's program in Engineering offered at OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts. The initial semesters are taught in English, covering fundamental STEM disciplines, with German language courses included for international students. After a foundational phase, students choose a specialization from nine engineering fields. A mandatory internship in the fourth semester allows students to gain professional experience in a German company and improve their language skills, before continuing their specialization in German from the fifth semester onwards.

Practical experience is a key component, with the nearby Botanical Garden available for application, including your mandatory practical semester. Please note that classes are currently held in Höxter, with a planned mid-term relocation to Detmold.
